33 Free Chiptune Loops

These short chiptune loops are ready to use, with no credit or royalty required, anywhere you need some retro ambience. All tracks loop seamlessly, and many of them can flow into each other equally seamlessly.

For normal use, just download the equalized Ogg versions. The above player demonstrates those versions. The FLAC and unequalized versions are available just in case you're pickier about audio and want to do your own compression and filtering.

In the course of developing the first and third incarnations in Eternity Champ!, I went through other melody ideas before deciding on the motifs I would use for that game, and these are the otherwise unused by-products of that process. 

These loops were not actually composed with specific times of day or locations in mind. I added the titles retrospectively to make it easier to tell the files apart. Most of them are 150 BPM, 4/4 time, tuned to a slightly non-standard key falling between standard C minor and C# minor.
